Subject:Re: HDToolBox Bug?

Hello All

Strange thing happened to me. I wanted to chenge the physical devive
name of one of my partitions on the HD. I had my older drive (a 2.1GB
Maxtor,) unplugged so my CD_ROM was up and working. The HDTools
recognise that I removed the drive and allowed me to save changes to
it.

My new drive is a 4.3GB Seagate. A friend of mine told me that
Seagates and Maxtors don't get along too well it used on the same
controller. If so, this may be the cause of what I thought was a
buhg with the HDTools.

Any comments?
